Aloha! This week in Kauai Deep Sea Sport Fishing Charter action, we are going to talk about the fish we have caught during the month of April. The last few weeks we have seen our share of ups and downs. We have had a pretty consistent weather system hitting the windward side of Kauai. The seas have been on the rougher side of average. That said, the weather has not deterred us from charging out most mornings in search of those trophy fish. We have had a steady stream of Billfish activity this month. We landed this 130lb Striped Marlin pictured in this post, and we also had several Blue Marlin on the line. The Yellowfin Tuna are slowly increasing in numbers as our waters begin to warm back up. We have landed several Yellowfin Tunas this month and we have had pretty consistent encounters with Mahi-Mahi schools as well. The Wahoo bite has been a bit elusive but that should be kicking back into gear anytime. We also landed a late season Shortbilled Spearfish last week which we are thrilled about. So our Kauai Fishing Charters in the month of April has been productive, but we have worked hard for the bite. Congratulations to all our guests who succeeded in catching a memorable fish while visiting Kauai.
